At times I have to stop and remind myself to take time and smell the roses. And right now, I need to do this, not only because we have had a very busy couple of months but because the roses in my garden are just magnificent. My favourite flower would have to be the rose and I just love my little garden down here in Tassie where we are lucky to have water to give them a drink.

But that’s not really what this post is about. Being able to smell my roses is a treat, yes and it reminds me that for me, Life is beautiful. I have happy healthy children, a nice roof over my head, friends and family who care about me and opportunities that many don’t. It is important that I remember this often, we tend to rush through life and forget just how good it is.

okay, to the point…..Life is Beautiful, yes I have said that three times, just what am I getting to?

now…… I am so pleased with this and really want to inspire you all to create a wonderful journal as you stitch your way through this so yes, we are going to have a giveaway.

For every 50 comments we will give a way a full pack + a transfer set. BUT you have to come up with a nice verse or quote relating to your Beautiful life. And you have to write this with a photo of the quilt (you can copy from here) and a link back to here on your blog so that you too spread the love and remind those dear to you to appreciate their life. Thirdly, you have to take just 5 minutes to stop and appreciate you and yours, maybe even go out to your garden or just breathe in the fresh air. No matter how bad things get, there is always something positive to find, and somebody worse off than us.

So thats: 1.leave a comment here with your quote

2.put up a blog post with your quote, a photo of the quilt and a link back to this post.

    3.stop for 5 minutes and think…

I am off camping for the weekend to the beautiful Lake Barrington so we will let this run for a week or so.

hugs for the weekend,

Helen
