Surprises, babies and bugs

We all love surprises and we were blessed with one eight years ago… No, not part of our Life’s plans but would we ever wish her back? no way…. she has brought joy, tears, laughter, growth and inspiration to our family and we all love her to bits…

But being a big eight year old now she took offence to my card which said ‘you will always be my beautiful baby girl…’ 8 year olds are not babies!!

Yesterdays surprises for her though of course were all about presents, friends and bugs! We baked and created all day Saturday to spoil her with the best ‘bug party’ we could come up with..

Party games…Lots of buggie party food….spiders… Ladybugs…more spiders….Butterflies… and bees…….
