I really don't like unpicking and always tell  students and stitchers to wait until they have finished the whole project and if it still bothers them then unpick.... when I got back from Portland earlier in the year I had this beautiful pack of fabrics from Anna Griffin that I just couldn't wait to do something with. So I bundled in boots and all and very quickly made the 'Blossoms' Quilt ready for Sydney. It was really pretty, quick and simple to make and the perfect size for a cot or lap quilt. I backed it with Minkee spot and bagged it so it was also very cuddly. However, I was never happy with it as without much quilting it just didn't look finished. So this week I have unpicked and redone the quilt. It has now got lovely free machined quilted flowers and curls and looks much more completed. Now I just have to get a better photo.

So this is now like a brand new pattern, which means.... yes a giveaway...but not right now, I have almost finished a couple more - yes I am on a roll here so for today I shall draw the winner for the Ginger Spice quilt pattern and you will need to keep watch for this one. Thankyou for SO many lovely comments - I can see you all love the fresh look and easy methods as much as I do... dont think I'll be able to prise this one away from my girls... and I will really look forward to seeing lots of Ginger Spice photos popping up across the world.
