Owl & Hare Hollow BOM EPP Papers Set

Thank you for your interest in purchasing the papers and templates for the Homespun - 2023 Block of the Month by Natalie Bird of the Birdhouse. 

Note: these are pre-cut paper templates - no acrylic or plastic templates are included as they are not required with our methods.

Our packs have all EPP shapes as advised by the designer plus some extras for mistakes. Please ensure you separate any into single layers if they have stuck together before fusing.

You may also add a laser cut applique paper template set - which has one of each of the applique shapes and smaller circles in the quilt laser cut from our Applique paper for easy and accurate turned edge applique. This saves tracing and hand cutting, is quick and accurate. 

This product is laser cut and may have slightly browned edges. This does not affect the useability of the product. We also cut where possible the shapes in several layers - so take care to separate the layers before using by just squishing/rubbing between your fingers and they will fall apart. There are enough (plus extras) in the packs to make the complete project.

The project also uses some larger circles. (2 x 5", 7 x 4", 18 x 7") which the instructions say to make a cardboard template and fold your fabric around it for the whole project. If you love our fused circle method we have made a download file available to print onto our Letter sized sheets of applique paper at home. You can also use this file to cut on your Scan and cut, sillhouette or cricut machines for perfect circles. Click here to order.

EPP Iron ons are die cut from Hugs 'n Kisses Applique Paper. This paper is 50% water soluble with a light glue coating on one side. The shapes are fused to the wrong side of the fabric, roughly cut out with an approximate 1/4" seam allowance, glued over and then stitched together by hand or machine. The papers DO NOT need to be removed. If washed the 50% stiffener will dissolve and remain in the project as soft natural fibres. For more information see our
